The power of films and literature reflects and solidifies a specific culture's beliefs and traditions. Films are important to illustrate the situation of a particular event and help viewers recognize the values of one's culture and beliefs. Southeast Asian films are taking a step further to promote our identity to the world and prove who we are and what we have achieved. 

BLOG PURPOSE

Interpretation

Film & Literature have an influential impact in showcasing and spreading our message, voice, and identity to the world. The main goal of this blog is to allow our viewers to observe the situation of a particular event and aspire them to recognize different cultural attitudes and predicaments in the selected film and literature work. 

Raise Awareness

Although Southeast Asian cultures and traditions display and vary greatly compared to the West cultures, we do have a unique identity and values in terms of what we believe and respect that has been passed down by our ancestors, decades after decades.

Bring Impact

We believe that this is time for us to take action and speak for our culture and traditions. This blog aims to bring impact by encouraging the preservation of diverse values and gaining a mutual understanding of Southeast Asian basic foundations including language, customs, and cultural traditions.
